AccessRC gives people seeking help an easy way to browse available programs, apply for services, and receive aid.

It makes accessing humanitarian aid simple, dignified, and fast, so it’s one less thing for displaced people, migrants, and people affected by crisis or disaster to worry about.

Access RC is available in over 40 languages, so people can access aid in their own language, wherever they’re located.

People can access Red Cross/Red Crescent programs in five steps:

  1. Download the AccessRC app on a mobile phone and create a basic user account. No ID is needed.

  2. Browse programs and see eligibility details.

  3. Apply for programs. The app provides a secure way that is aligned with GDPR standards to conduct ID verifications and upgrade from a basic to standard account when necessary. The system can also help assess eligibility for programs.

  4. Receive real-time updates on application status and next steps.

  5. Receive important information or tell us about your needs. Help such as cash assistance can also be directly provided digitally or through financial services providers. Information about in-person aid and other assistance can be pushed to eligible people.

Easy for humanitarians and National Societies

AccessRC makes it easy for Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies to launch, manage, and scale aid programs to deliver aid where it’s most needed.

  • Set up a remote needs assesments, information campaigns or aid programs with an intuitive step-by-step workflow.

  • Manage internal access controls with user accounts, customizable roles, and permissions.

  • Automate identify verification and eligibility checking.

  • Automatically localize aid programs into up to 42 languages.

National Societies can launch an aid program in a few steps:

  1. Create a survey for assessments and PDMs, informational campaigns and/or an aid program.

  2. Specify the purpose of the survey, the content and frequency of the campaign or type of aid offered, applicable limits, eligibility criteria, and start and end dates.

  3. Activate your program.

  4. Monitor your program with user-friendly dashboards and reporting.
