Our Vision:
Seamless Access to Help, Anytime, Anywhere
Faced with the largest refugee crisis in Europe since World War II, the team that developed AccessRC knew that the traditional ways of delivering humanitarian assistance couldn’t scale to meet the challenge of supporting millions of displaced families in the middle of winter.
Realizing that millions of Ukrainian women had fled to neighboring countries with their children and elderly parents in tow, the AccessRC team sought a way to make it easier for these exhausted mothers to get help through their mobile phones.
Thanks to AccessRC, Ukrainian families didn’t have to travel and queue in the cold, in a foreign country, in hopes of receiving assistance. Instead, people could download the app, see what aid programs were available in their area, apply for aid, and receive aid quickly and discreetly.
AccessRC helped national societies deliver over CHF 85 million in cash assistance directly to the people who needed it the most, helping to provide dignity and choice to women and families in need.
We’re now expanding use globally. We welcome all national societies to join us on this journey.
